Day 15: September 7.
This was one of those days when I realised I needed to mix it up a bit if I were ever going to be able to get to 30. When I was in Canberra, I dropped by Target and was able to pick up a few more of the NYX Wicked Lippies. This is one of their two dark blues and it’s called either Envy or Sinful. I’ll have to double check which one of them I actually ended up using, because I considered both. It’s surprisingly good for a blue lipstick. It’s usually really hard to get colours that are so different from natural lip colours to actually become opaque, you have to build this one up like crazy but it’s still quite good if you put the effort in. Not entirely convinced that this is a flattering colour on me though.
Day 16: September 8.
After having been a bit adventurous the day before, I decided to play things safe and opted for another of the MaxFactor Flipsicks. I’ve actually used this one so often (and had it for ages) that the name has worn off from the product. Some quick googling and it seems like this one is Folky Pink and the one I used a few days ago seems to be called Boreal Mauve.
Day 17: September 9
Today I’m wearing a different MaxFactor product, namely their Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick (no joke, that’s the name) in Passionate Red 35. It’s a really nice colour, I have only worn it for a short period of time so it’s a bit difficult for me to say much about the quality of the product. It’s been sitting on my desk for a while since it was wrapped in five tonnes of plastic, so I never got around to trying it.
